The authority gap

Your expertise is strong. Your distribution should be, too.

Most experts do not have a content problem. They have a disconnected system: one person pitches podcasts, another writes posts, another edits video, and nobody turns it into a coherent point of view.

Modern Authority connects the whole loop

  1. 1
Borrow trustSpeak on relevant podcasts with audiences already listening.
  2. 2
Capture your thinkingUse real conversations—not generic prompts—as the source material.
  3. 3
Multiply the proofTurn one idea into written, visual, and video content for LinkedIn.
  4. 4
Build recognitionPublish consistently until your market knows what you stand for.
The all-in-one system

Four content engines. One point of view.

Podcast guesting creates borrowed credibility and fresh source material. LinkedIn content turns that momentum into a consistent authority presence where buyers can keep discovering you.

02 Voice

LinkedIn content

Interview-led posts built from your real stories, frameworks, opinions, proof, and offers—edited to sound like the person your clients already trust.

  • Authority, proof, framework, and offer posts
  • Human editing and your approval
  • Built primarily for LinkedIn
03 Presence

Short-form clips

Strong moments become clean, captioned vertical clips with a clear hook and light brand treatment—ready to earn attention without losing substance.

  • Edited from authority interviews
  • Podcast footage used when available
  • Captions, hooks, and brand styling
04 Recall

Graphic post images

Your sharpest ideas become visual posts people can understand at a glance: quote cards, frameworks, checklists, and branded educational graphics.

  • Made for the LinkedIn feed
  • Consistent visual language
  • Useful ideas—not decorative filler
Why it works

You are not manufacturing four kinds of content from scratch. You are creating one strong source conversation and distributing its best ideas in the formats people prefer to consume.

How the writing actually works

Most ghostwritten content underperforms. Here is what we do differently.

No post starts from a blank page. Every one starts from expertise you already have—then gets pulled out of you, written in your voice, and approved before anyone sees it.

  1. 01

Find where you are world class

Every expert has one or two topics where they genuinely know more than almost anyone: the market they have been in for a decade, the problem they have solved a hundred times. That is the only place we write, because that is where posts turn into pipeline, hires, and inbound instead of vanity metrics.

  2. 02

    Interview you on those topics

Structured conversations about the deal you just closed, the thing your customers keep getting wrong, the opinion you would argue about at dinner. Every strong post starts in one of those conversations before it reaches your content calendar.

  3. 03

    Pull from what already exists

Sales calls, internal docs, the long message you fired off at 11pm. Most experts have already said their best material out loud to a prospect or a teammate, then forgot it five minutes later.

  4. 04

    Calibrate the voice early

We write sample posts in a few different styles until it actually reads like you: how blunt you are, how you build an argument, the phrases you overuse. We would rather get this wrong in samples than in public.

  5. 05

    Nothing publishes without sign-off

You review, we adjust, it goes live. When someone comments “this is so true,” you can stand behind every word of it—because you approved every word of it.

  6. 06

    Track what pulls real conversations

Topics that start genuine conversations become pillars and we double down on them. The rest gets retired. The weekly review is where that call gets made.

Monthly post volume depends on your package—see the scope comparison for exact numbers at each level.

How it works

You bring the expertise. We run the operating system.

A clear workflow keeps the podcast pipeline moving while your LinkedIn presence stays active, consistent, and recognizably yours.

  1. 01
    Position

We define your audience, authority angles, proof, talking points, and the shows that make strategic sense.

  2. 02
    Book

You approve the shortlist. We handle personalized outreach, follow-up, scheduling, and guest preparation.

  3. 03
    Capture

You join two or four monthly authority interviews while podcast appearances add fresh stories and third-party proof.

  4. 04
    Multiply

We build the written posts, graphic assets, and video clips inside one coordinated content calendar.

  5. 05
    Approve & publish

You review everything before it goes live. We use performance signals to sharpen the next cycle.

One clear idea. Four ways for the market to remember it.

Authority Builder and Authority Engine are new packages. The layouts below illustrate their content structure and approval flow; they are not presented as a client result or performance claim.

Authority grows when the same useful idea is expressed clearly, supported by proof, and repeated in formats your market actually consumes.

If trust drives the sale, authority should drive the content.

Modern Authority works best when your voice, experience, and point of view are part of what buyers are choosing.

✓ A clear offer ✓ Real expertise or proof ✓ A point of view worth sharing ✓ Willingness to show up on camera
01

Coaches

Make your frameworks, client breakthroughs, and coaching philosophy visible before the discovery call.

02

Speakers

Turn stage ideas into an always-on body of content that helps organizers and buyers understand your value.

03

Authors

Carry your book’s core ideas into interviews, visual frameworks, clips, and ongoing LinkedIn conversations.

04

Who you’re working with

You’re not hiring a queue. You’re working with me.

Modern Authority is a deliberately small operation. You will always know who read your first email, who is accountable for your campaign, and who to talk to when something needs to change.

Most experts I talk to do not have a content problem. They have a coordination problem.

A freelancer books the podcasts. A ghostwriter drafts the posts. An editor who never heard the interview cuts the clips. Four vendors, four invoices, four calendars—and no one connecting it into a point of view the market can actually recognize.

I built Modern Authority to close that gap. Get you in front of audiences who already trust the host, then make sure the best few minutes of that conversation keep working on LinkedIn long after the episode drops. One conversation in, four formats out, one voice throughout.

How I work
  • You approve the list before I pitch it. No outreach happens to a show you have not signed off on.
  • If I miss the two-booking commitment, outreach continues at no added management fee until the shortfall is made up.
  • Your dedicated account manager and CSM run the day-to-day—so nothing stalls when I am on a call.
  • Nothing is published before you review it. Your name is on it, so your voice decides.

Questions, answered

Clear scope before the call.

The offer should be easy to understand before you ever open a calendar.

Ask Jonathan a different question
What exactly is included in Modern Authority?

Modern Authority combines audience-fit podcast guesting with LinkedIn writing, branded graphic posts, and short-form video. Every package includes a weekly performance review, dedicated account manager, and customer success manager. The $500 Podcast Guesting plan is the established service; the new $1,000 and $1,500 packages add the content system at different cadences.

How many podcast bookings are included?

Every plan includes at least two qualified podcast bookings every month. That is a delivery floor, not a contract term—all three packages stay month-to-month. We stay open to more when audience fit, host availability, your calendar, and the approved show queue support it. If the two-booking commitment is missed, we continue outreach at no added management fee until the shortfall is made up, subject to client responsiveness and agreed targeting.

What counts as a podcast booking?

A booking is a qualified guest opportunity accepted by a podcast host or producer and coordinated for recording. It is not a guarantee of a specific audience size, release date, listener count, lead volume, or business outcome.

How quickly can I expect the first booking?

Many podcast guesting clients see a first booking within two to four weeks after positioning, approvals, and outreach begin. Timing varies by niche, authority fit, approval speed, seasonality, and host responsiveness.

Where does the content come from?

The primary source is a structured Modern Authority interview focused on your stories, frameworks, proof, opinions, and offer. When usable video files and repurposing rights are available, podcast appearances can also become short clips and post ideas.

Is there a long-term contract?

Every Modern Authority package is month-to-month. You can continue while the service remains useful without signing a long-term package commitment. Specific billing, notice, and active-work details are confirmed in the service agreement before work begins.

Will the LinkedIn content sound like me?

That is the point of the interview-led process. Drafts begin with your real language and thinking, then receive human editorial review. You approve every post, graphic, and clip before it is scheduled.

Are Authority Builder and Authority Engine new offers?

Yes. Podcast Guesting is the established service behind the client testimonials and placement record on this page. Authority Builder and Authority Engine are new integrated offers that add LinkedIn writing, branded graphics, and short-form video to that established booking foundation. The preview assets are representative until integrated-package case studies are available.

Who manages my account?

Every package includes a dedicated account manager who coordinates campaigns, deliverables, approvals, and timelines, plus a dedicated customer success manager who supports onboarding, goals, communication, and the overall client experience.

Does every package include a weekly performance review?

Yes. Every package includes a weekly performance review covering campaign activity, progress, priorities, and next actions. For Authority Builder and Authority Engine, the review also incorporates available LinkedIn content signals to guide the next content cycle.

How much time will this require from me?

Your role is to approve podcast targets and guest angles, attend scheduled interviews, review content, and provide relevant proof and brand context. Modern Authority handles research, outreach, production, coordination, and scheduling. Content-plan interviews typically run 30–45 minutes at the cadence included in your package.

Who approves and owns the content?

You approve every post, graphic, and clip before it is published or scheduled. Deliverable ownership and usage rights are documented in the service agreement before work begins so there is no ambiguity.

What outcomes are not guaranteed?

Modern Authority does not guarantee a particular show audience size, publication date, reach, follower growth, leads, revenue, or other business result. The booking commitment and make-good process are defined separately from performance outcomes.

Who is not a fit?

This is not a strong fit for someone without a clear offer, credible expertise, useful stories, or willingness to participate in interviews. It is also not a paid-placement shortcut or a promise of overnight virality.
